    Jordan Larson Gets Teary Eyed After Emotional Honor From LOVB Nebraska During Career’s Last Season 

    Jordan Larson got emotional after receiving a heartfelt honor from her LOVB Nebraska team during the last volleyball match of her career. She had been professionally playing for the last 15 seasons. 

    Larson was last seen in action on April 4, playing for her team against LOVB Austin, who claimed a 3-2 (22-25, 26-24, 25-19, 22-25,15-10) victory. With this loss, Nebraska fell short of advancing to the playoffs, ending their journey in this season. This was an extremely special match for Larson, as this marked the last match of her career.

    Following the match, the team honored the player with an emotional speech which got her teary-eyed. They paid tribute to her by retiring her No. 10 jersey, saying: 

    “On behalf of, right, your team in League One volleyball and League One Nebraska, right? We, are so thankful for your commitment to the state of Nebraska, right? Volleyball in the United States, volleyball in the world, right, and the impact that you had on it, and I just wanna take a moment to thank you for that, right? We are more than honored to be part of this season with you. Celebrate, right, and this should feel like a celebration of you and all the beautiful things that you are and your successes and, to show our appreciation for that and to recognise. Of the people that are coming here to celebrate that, with you here tonight at Baxter Arena, right? We would like to present, something for you.”

    The LOVB Nebraska posted a video of this special moment on Instagram with the caption:

    Jordan Larson Opens Up About Receiving Massive Support In The Final Season 

    After her team’s matchup against LOVB Houston on April 1, 2026, Jordan Larson sat for a media conversation, where she weighed in on receiving massive support from her people in the final season of her career. Crediting her family, friends, and her mentors for shaping her in the way she is, she said

    “Yeah, it’s just, you know, I think people see a product, you know, of kind of what I’ve become, but really it’s a product of a lot of pieces, you know. I’ve had coaches. Family, friends, mentors just along the way that really have shaped me and without them.

    “You know, having good information and bad information, you know, all the hard, you know, it’s been a lot of beautiful things but a lot of hard things and people have really committed to me a lot of their time and so.”

    Extending gratitude toward her supporters, she added:

    “So there’s no way to like be able to pay back, you know, all those things, but I hope that words and actions can do something and make them feel loved as much as they’ve loved me through the process so.”

    Jordan Larson joined the Nebraska volleyball team by playing club at the young age of 12.
