Nebraska’s power couple Bergen Reilly and Cale Jacobsen took their relationship to the next level as they confirmed their engagement. Reilly’s teammates Harper Murray and Lexi Rodriguez were among those who reacted with great joy as the couple confirmed their new chapter on social media.
Reilly has been in a long-term relationship with Jacobsen, a standout guard on the Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball team. In the post confirming their engagement, Jacobsen could be seen kneeling on one knee, holding the engagement ring, as Reilly looked on gushingly. The couple then embraced.

Bergen Reilly Talks About the Importance of Breathing to Get into the Right Mindset
Bergen Reilly has often highlighted the importance of maintaining composure before big games. During an interview with 1890 Nebraska, Reilly spoke about how her locker room focuses on breathing to reach a point where mindfulness comes easily, which is crucial for good performance.
” We talk a lot about our breath in Nebraska, so everything we do, we start with breathing at the beginning and it just puts you on the right mindspace, and just gets you ready,” she said (2:02).
The Huskers recently announced their schedule for the season, which features 28 regular-season matches. 17 will be against Big Ten opponents and 11 will be against non-conference foes.
