Alysa Liu recently turned heads with her classy outfit at the American Music Awards on May 25, 2026. The Olympian donned a chic Custom Chrome Hearts leather outfit at the event.

Liu rose to fame during the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she became the first American in 24 years to win a gold medal in women’s figure skating. She claimed a first0place finish after registering an overall score of 226.79 points. She performed on Donna Summer’s ‘MacArthur Park Suite,’ delivering all seven of her triple jumps. In addition to this, she also bagged a gold medal in the team event after producing a dominant display of her skills.

After her impressive run in Paris, she attended the Met Gala, shared an adorable moment with Taylor Swift on stage, and more. After these career-defining moments, she recently again stole the spotlight with her appearance at the 52nd American Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the presenter of the show and stunned the blue carpet in her Custom Chrome Hearts all-black leather outfit with silver chains.

She came on the stage to present the award for ‘Best Rock/Alternative Artist’. Before announcing the award, she said:

“Music plays an important role in my life as an athlete. It’s how I connect and share my art with the audience,” said Alysa Liu.

Along with Liu, the Olympic gymnast, Jordan Chiles, also attended the event in a navy blue blazer paired with chic trousers.

What did Alysa Liu say after winning the gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics?

After her stellar Winter Olympics run, Alysa Liu sat for a conversation with NBC News, where she weighed in on her performances at the Milano Cortina. While discussing her routines on the stage, she was also asked about her comeback to the sport after her retirement in 2016.

Responding to this, she called herself lucky, and expressing gratitude for the opportunity, she said:

“Being able to do it my way on the big stage like this has been my dream, and I got to do it in my short, I got to do it in the team event, and I got to do it tonight for the free skate, and I’m going to do it again for the Olympic Gala, so I don’t know, I’m just like over the moon. I’m the luckiest girl ever, and yeah, I’m really grateful,” said Alysa Liu.

    She added:

“I guess the thing is I love what I like to share about myself is like my story and my art, my creative process, and I guess messing up doesn’t take away from that. It’s still something. It’s still a story, you know, a bad story is still a story, and I think that’s beautiful, so there’s no way to lose.”
