Bo Bassett recently drew a comparison between Real American Freestyle and the NFL, UFC, and MLB. Bassett made his third appearance at the Real American Freestyle tournament following his two previous victories.
In the latest edition, held at the Yuengling Center at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, March 28, Bassett dominated the round in the 145lbs category. The wrestling sensation overpowered two-time Olympic medalist Vladimer Khinchegashvili to claim his third RAF title. In the fifth match, Bassett bested the 2016 Olympics gold medalist by a technical fall with 13-3.
The referee stopped the match in the second period at 0:57, with no need for pinning. Following his feat, which continued his undefeated record at the RAF, Bassett highlighted the popularity of the tournament, saying it is equivalent to UFC, NFL, NHL, and MLB.
“Real American Freestyle Wrestling is the UFC, NFL, NHL, MLB of wrestling,” Bassett wrote. “Blessed and Grateful to be a part of it.

He made his debut at the Real American Freestyle at the 03 edition in 2025, which he dominated against Darrion Caldwell with a fall. His second win came against Cayden Henschel with a technical fall 14-4 at RAF 05 in January this year.
