Nebraska volleyball player Bergen Reilly opened up about Cale Jacobsen’s work ethic amid March Madness

Bergen Reilly recently weighed in on her boyfriend, Cale Jacobsen’s, work ethic amid the March Madness. This came after the Nebraska basketball team reached the Sweet 16 for the first time after defeating the Vanderbilt Commodores.

The volleyball player sat for a conversation with Hurrdat Sports, where she was asked about Jacobsen’s work ethic and the mindset behind reaching the historic Sweet 16 for his team. Opening up about his hard work, she revealed his dedication level, stating that he thinks about his game all the time, and said how much she respects his discipline.

“He works harder than anyone I know. He was always first in the gym, last out. He’s always thinking about basketball, he’s always thinking of other defense while he’s brushing his teeth at night, so he loves it, and I love it, and it’s finally paying off, and everyone gets to see what I’ve seen for so long,” Bergen Reilly said.

Bergen Reilly joined the Nebraska volleyball team as a freshman in the 2023 season, and after four powerful seasons, the 2026 season is going to be her final season.
