Bergen Reilly, Andi Jackson and other Nebraska volleyball players recently reacted to a major life update about former Husker Maisie Boesiger. Boesiger concluded her collegiate career in 2025 after serving as libero for the Huskers for four years.
Boesiger replaced the Huskers’ star libero Lexi Rodriguez in 2024 after the latter completed her senior year. She posted 23 digs, five assists, and one ace after playing in 33 sets in her last year. During a press conference in her senior year, she also expressed interest in working with the marketing team on an app collaboration with LOVB after bidding adieu to the collegiate circuit. In addition to her professional life, Boesiger is progressing in her personal life.
The 22-year-old recently announced that she and her fiancé, Nolan Schwarting, are buying a new house. Boesiger shared glimpses of their new home and wrote:

Her former team’s players shared their admiration, with Allie Sczech writing:

“She’s just such a light for the team. We’ve talked about it a couple times. It’s a long hard season, but she will come in every day with the biggest smile on her face and she’s like the definition of team first. And we talk about that a lot, like do whatever the team needs for you, like T (Teraya Sigler) said. And that’s exactly what Maisie’s willing to do.”“She’s just like the definition of a good teammate and exactly what we try and embrace here at Nebraska is being good teammates and having that culture and we’ve been so lucky, I’ve been so lucky to have so many teammates like that here.”
