Linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been with the Baltimore Ravens for the last three seasons but it appears his time with the team is over.
Van Noy Tweeted on X yesterday that his time with the Ravens is up after this weekend ahead of free agency. This comes after the Ravens acquired Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby in a blockbuster trade that sent the Raiders two first round picks.
Van Noy had a career resurgence with Baltimore. After spending the previous nine season with four different teams, he recorded 21.5 sacks across the 2023 and 2024 seasons, earning a Pro Bowl nod for the 2024 season.
Van Noy will be entering his 13th NFL this season fall and is a free agent. In his career, Van Noy has 561 tackles, 57 sacks, four interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, and 10 fumble recoveries. As of now, he has no plans to retire.
Maxx Crosby Brings A Dominant Force To Ravens’ Defense
It isn’t often you see a player get traded in return for two first-round picks. That’s just how good Maxx Crosby is.
Since entering the NFL in 2019, Crosby has been a force on defense. He ranks No. 1 in tackles for loss (133) and solo tackles (277) and is second in quarterback pressures (431) and quarterback hits (119.) He ranks third in total tackles with 437, fourth in batted passes with 20, and fifth in total sacks with 69.5.
Crosby has been named to five Pro Bowls and two Second-Team All-Pro selections. He joins a talented Ravens defense and team that is expected to compete for the AFC title this season.
