NFL Free Agency Predictions: Top 10 Players and Their Most Likely Landing Spots

NFL free agency is here, adding to the slate of sports action to make for one of the busiest moments on the calendar for fans. However, football fans arguably have the most on the line with players lying in wait that could spark dynasties and Super Bowl runs.

There will be plenty of movement with plenty of names to consider. With the offensive side of the 2026 NFL draft class seemingly a bit shallower this season, more pressure is on teams to get it right in March. Here’s a look at the best and what could happen to them in the coming days.

Top 10 NFL Free Agency Players and Possible Landing Spot Predictions

    #10 – Malik Willis, QB

When it comes to free agent quarterbacks with untapped potential, Malik Willis is as good as it gets. Willis showed flashes in Matt LaFleur’s offense in situations when Jordan Love arguably has not. Still, the Packers elected to let Willis out the door.

Likely Landing Spot: New York Jets

    #9 – Cameron Jordan, DE

Cameron Jordan is entering the end of his mid-30s, but he is coming off a season that wouldn’t look out of place for a 25-year-old. The Saints legend could help pressure quarterbacks and get sacks on what is likely to be a great value on a one-year deal.

    Likely Landing Spot: Dallas Cowboys

    #8 – Stefon Diggs, WR

Stefon Diggs made it through 2025 intact and helped his team unseat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East and get the team to a Super Bowl. Now, he can help another contender do the same.

Likely Landing Spot: San Francisco 49ers

    #7 – Rashid Shaheed, WR

Rashid Shaheed was on a 1,000-yard pace when he was traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Seattle Seahawks, where he was given return duties. One Super Bowl later, he can provide plenty to his next team.

    Likely Landing Spot: Baltimore Ravens

    #6 – Travis Etienne, RB

Travis Etienne saw a resurgence in 2025 under Liam Coen. However, as Etienne wasn’t Coen’s guy, the team chose to move on instead of paying him. That doesn’t mean he can’t spark somewhere else.

Likely Landing Spot: Kansas City Chiefs

    #5 – Rico Dowdle, RB

Rico Dowdle is coming off two back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, offering plenty of opportunity to the team that signs him. Dowdle, still in his 20s, could give his next team respite for years to come.

    Likely Landing Spot: Minnesota Vikings

    #4 – Trey Hendrickson, Edge

Trey Hendrickson has earned 17.5 sacks in two of his last three years in the NFL. As such, his next team is in line to get plenty of production and a boost to its pass rush.

Likely Landing Spot: San Francisco 49ers

    #3 – Bobby Wagner, LB

Bobby Wagner finished in the top five in tackles once again. The ageless wonder has outlasted the rest of the Legion of Boom and is still playing like it’s 2013.

    Likely Landing Spot: Cincinnati Bengals

    #2 – Wan’Dale Robinson, WR

Wan’Dale Robinson was never the plan in New York, but his production without Malik Nabers showed he probably should have been. The 2025 1,000-yard receiver is still in his mid-20s, so he is likely to give his next team a notable boost.

    Likely Landing Spot: Seattle Seahawks

    #1 – Alec Pierce, WR

Alec Pierce and Daniel Jones placed the Colts in a bind with only one tag option to go around. Pierce pushed his way into free agency, declaring he had “earned the right” on “Up & Adams” in a Wednesday clip and, as a receiver still just 25 years old, could save his next team a first-round draft pick.
