On the eve of the USA’s 250th anniversary, NFL legend Tom Brady took to social media to celebrate the grand occasion by revisiting some of the biggest moments in sports over the years.
“The Immaculate Reception,” Mohammed Ali lighting the Olympic torch, and the Patriots’ 28-3 comeback in the Super Bowl were just some of the iconic moments that Brady revisited in the short clip.
Now, as Brady’s post on Instagram went viral, one fan said the video narration should’ve been done by A’ja Wilson instead of Brady:
Another fan reminded Brady of David Tyree’s miraculous catch that ended the Patriots’ perfect season with a Super Bowl loss:

Chiney Ogwumike Made A Bold Comparison Between A’ja Wilson and Tom Brady
During an appearance on ESPN earlier this week, WNBA analyst Chiney Ogwumike was asked if A’ja Wilson’s greatness is greater than that of Tom Brady’s. To which the analyst responded:
“Tom’s winning is boring. That don’t apply to A’ja. A’ja is more interesting than Tom. A’ja is that girl.”
While Wilson and Brady have both made history in their respective sports, the comparison did not sit well with most sports fans.
Brady, who is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, is the only player to do so in the history of the NFL, with the second-closest player being Charles Haley with five. Meanwhile, Wilson’s three WNBA championships are still shadowed by Rebekkah Brunson (5), Sue Bird, Maya Moore, and several other former stars who have won four.
While Wilson holds the edge in regular-season MVP awards, Brady boasts five Super Bowl MVPs alongside his three regular-season ones.
To sum it up, while A’ja Wilson is certainly on the path to potentially becoming the greatest player of all-time in her sport, Brady has already achieved that feat in the eyes of many after a 23-year career filled with various accolades.
