    NFL free agency began yesterday, and billions of dollars were handed out (literally.)

    The negotiating period began yesterday for free agency with free agents being able to officially sign new deals tomorrow.

    An NFL record of $2.8 billion + was spent on Day One in free agency yesterday and more money will be spent on free agents over the next few days before free agency calms down.

    There were a lot of big spenders and some teams that didn’t spend a dime on new free agents yesterday. Six of the 10 highest-spending teams on day one of free agency are AFC teams.
