The NFL offseason is in full swing, with teams deep into roster building ahead of the NFL Draft in April. For some teams, a key part of this time of the calendar year is re-signing stars who have run out of contract for one reason or another.
This year is no exception, with players like Kansas City’s tight end Travis Kelce or Houston’s lineman Ed Ingram agreeing to remain with their teams for the 2026 season.
Here’s a comprehensive list of major stars who re-signed with their teams during the offseason, and the known details of their deals.
| Player | Position | Team | Contract Details | Notes |
| Alec Pierce | WR | Indianapolis Colts | 4 Years, $116M | $29M in Average Annual Value; $84M total guarantees. |
| Cade Otton | TE | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Three-year deal | Terms are still not public |
| Marcus Mariota | QB | Wash. Commanders | 1 Year, $7M | Includes up to $4M in incentives. |

The Kansas City Chiefs Afforded Travis Kelce The Widest Latitude
The Kansas City Chiefs hold Travis Kelce in a special place. And that’s one of the things they took into account while reaching an agreement with Kelce, meeting him halfway, considering where he’s at in his life.
“Travis is the best,” General Manager Brett Veach said during the NFL Combine. “He’s an icon, and hopefully he comes back. We’ll just kind of let that process play out. It’s not your typical 27-year-old [and] first time at free agency. Travis has done everything and has accomplished everything.”
“He’s about to get married. He’s got a lot going on, so I don’t think there’s an element of us not trying to get something done — you need to have some sort of deadline [or] timeline — but at the same time, he’s Travis Kelce,” he added.
While the details are not out yet, it seems all that’s left is finishing up minor details that will allow Kelce to remain with the Chiefs.
