Full List of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Draft Picks in Order

#1 – Round 1, Pick 15: Rueben Bain Jr., Edge, Miami

The Buccaneers were not fazed by the 11th-hour April 12 ESPN report that Rueben Bain Jr. had been involved in a car wreck that eventually caused the death of a passenger in 2024.

Bain had 15.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks in 2025 on a team that went to the national championship. He stays local and also helps fill a spot that helped Tom Brady seal the deal when the Buccaneers won it all in the 2020-2021 season.

#2 – Round 2, Pick 46: Josiah Trotter, LB, Missouri

The Buccaneers doubled down on defense in the second round with Josiah Trotter. Trotter also showed the ability to get into the backfield in 2025 with 13 tackles for loss and two sacks. Trotter also led the Big 12 in assisted tackles in 2024.

#3 – Round 3, Pick 84: Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia State

In typical Buccaneers fashion, it didn’t take long for the team to draft a wide receiver. Ted Hurst tallied at least 960 yards in each of his last two seasons. He also piled up 15 receiving touchdowns in that span.

#4 – Round 4, Pick 116: Keionte Scott, CB, Miami (FL)

Keionte Scott took a gamble in changing schools from Auburn to Miami after his third season, but the bet paid off for the cornerback. Scott led the ACC with two pick-sixes in 14 games. He also learned to pass rush, with 13 tackles for loss and five sacks.

#5 – Round 5, Pick 155: DeMonte Capehart, DT, Clemson

DeMonte Capehart spent a full six years in college, so there should not be too many aspects of the game that he isn’t aware of. Capehart had no trouble soaking up blocks while occasionally ending plays on his own, giving him a chance to excel in Tampa Bay.

    #6 – Round 5, Pick 160: Billy Schrauth, G, Notre Dame

Baker Mayfield received a boost with Billy Schrauth, a guard who helped Jeremiyah Love explode at Notre Dame. Bucky Irving, Kenneth Gainwell and Sean Tucker could also benefit from his addition if he comes as advertised.

#7 – Round 6, Pick 185: Bauer Sharp, TE, LSU

The Buccaneers spent a flyer on Bauer Sharpe to motivate and elevate the tight end room. Sharp, who had moments in college, could be another player for Baker Mayfield to use as a surprise element in a moment when the offense seems stuck by using its conventional targets.
