Ranking the Best Offensive Coordinator Jobs Available in the NFL Right Now

Offensive coordinators often are the next in line for the head coach position, and partly because of that, there are as many as four OC positions available. Some OC positions are already filled, like former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel getting hired by the LA Chargers, Eric Bieniemy to the Kansas City Chiefs and Drew Petzing to the Detroit Lions.

Let’s rank the remaining OC positions still available across the NFL.

Top OC Jobs Available in NFL

    1. Baltimore Ravens

After parting ways with head coach John Harbaugh, the Ravens have hired Jesse Minter, who previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers. Because of this, whoever the Ravens hire, the calling duties will be all his.

There’s a lot to like about this job. If you want to run along some of the biggest offensive stars in the league, Baltimore is the place. Quarterback Lamar Jackson and the presence of running back Derrick Henry mean that they are always expected to run an MVP-level offense. However, with that comes added pressure, as the Ravens fired Harbaugh, who missed the playoffs only six times in 18 seasons.

Veteran offensive coaches Matt Nagy, Kliff Kingsbury and Joe Brady have all met with the Ravens. In addition, Denver’s Davis Webb is also an interesting candidate for the role.

    2. Tennessee Titans

The Titans have an exciting offense to run, led by the 2025 NFL draft’s first overall pick, Cam Ward. Under new head coach Robert Saleh, the coordinator would benefit from a defensive-friendly environment.

Moreover, the Titans have plenty of cap space. They rank third with $77.1 million among all NFL teams, per the Roster Management System.

Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, Dolphins pass-game coordinator Bobby Slowik and 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak are some of the notable candidates for this role.

    3. Philadelphia Eagles

A lot of things can be made out if this is the best destination for any offensive coordinator to be in. Just one year after winning the Super Bowl, the Eagles went down against the San Francisco 49ers in the wild-card round and there are tensions running within the group, particularly between quarterback Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley. Moreover, the OC role has seen no stability in Lincoln Field, as for the fourth straight season, it was changed.

Chicago offensive coordinator Declan Doyle is in play, while taking out Brian Daboll’s name from contention just now would be unfair.

    4. New York Giants

A new coach has taken over the Giants, with John Harbaugh joining them as the head coach. Whoever joins in as OC will have an exciting opportunity to work with a sophomore talent, Jaxson Dart, who gave plenty of good reasons for high upside. Moreover, the presence of wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo makes this job even more exciting.

If the decision lies with Harbaugh, he would have no other than his Ravens offensive coordinator, Todd Monken, who is also in the mix for the Cleveland Browns head coaching job. If not him, Harbaugh might trust Ravens running backs coach Willie Taggart with this role.
