Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua’s ex-girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, made an emotional video last week, detailing how challenging the last year was for her. Aiono, who is the mother of Nacua’s son, Kingston, also talked about being cheated on.
A compilation of two videos was posted on X by MLFootball. Aiono said that she was in such a dark place that if she could go back in time, she’d give herself the biggest hug. She was scrutinized, trolled, and even threatened during what she called the “hardest season of her life.”
“She didn’t know that she was about to receive hundreds of thousands of death threats, hate comments, hate DMs,” Aiono said. “She didn’t know that millions of people would be telling her the type of woman she is and the type of mom she was about to become.”
Aiono said that people accused her of cheating on Puka Nacua and questioned who the father of her child was. She made it clear that she wasn’t the one who cheated on him and alleged that she had been cheated on. Aiono went on to talk about the narratives that were pushed against her.
Aiono expected people to understand her side of the story as well, but she never received any support from anyone outside of her close circle. She said that the people in her inner circle helped her during the tough times, and she also credited therapy for helping her heal from the trauma.

Aiono clarified that she has no intention of trying to bring someone down or to rewrite the past with these videos. The only reason why she is putting things out there is to tell her side of the story and her truth.
“There are still moments…where doing what’s best for my son asks more of me than I ever imagined. I’m unfortunately finding out that loving my son and taking the best care of him also, unfortunately, includes taking the harder road over and over again and it’s exhausting but I would do anything for my son,” she added.
Without taking any names, Aiono mentioned that three retired NFL players talked about her life in a “disgusting and vile way” and claimed that she didn’t know who the father of her child was.
