Cleveland Browns defensive star Myles Garrett’s girlfriend, snowboarder Chloe Kim, is currently participating in the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy. Kim is a two-time Olympic gold medallist, having won the women’s halfpipe snowboarding competition at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022.
She began her defense of the title on Wednesday’s qualifiers, and Garrett was there for it. The defensive end seemed ecstatic when he spoke with ESPN and told them the following about her participation.
“I got her whole run,” Garrett said after Kim qualified first into Thursday night’s halfpipe final. “She’s amazing.”
When Kim won at PyeongChang 2018, she became the youngest ever woman to win a gold medal at an Olympic snowboarding event. She was 17 at the time. Kim is a native of Torrance, California, and has had an extremely successful snowboarding career, having also won three gold medals at the World Championships, eight at the Winter X Games, and two at the Youth Olympics.
She has also won ESPYs for Best Female Athlete, Best Female Olympian, and Best Female Action Sports Athlete.
When Did Myles Garrett And Chloe Kim Confirm Their Relationship?
The couple has never opened up about how they met each other, although they were seen together for the first time at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, Japan, in May 2025. They didn’t confirm their relationship until November of last year.
Kim has also admitted to the press that she had no idea who Garrett was when they first met:
“I guess my dad did watch football when he first came to America, but when I came around, it was a lot of, like, golf, tennis, things of that sort. So it’s actually funny that we’re in this position right now, because I had no idea who he was.”
“Like, zero idea. I actually don’t know many, many athletes. Like I know Tom Brady and LeBron James. That’s my extent, that’s all I know. But now I’m all about it.”
She’s a first-generation Korean American, with her parents hailing from South Korea. Kim is so disconnected from football that she even told the press at Milano Cortina this week that she’s clearly the better athlete in the relationship. All in playful banter, of course.
