Haley Cavinder’s wedding to Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson is just a few days away, with the event being scheduled for Saturday. The former Miami Hurricanes basketball standout and the Cowboys star got engaged in April 2025.

Someone who seems ready for the event is Haley’s twin sister and former fellow Miami women’s basketball player, Hanna Cavinder, who posted a picture of her pickup truck this Tuesday morning with the following caption:
“otw to pick up the bride,” read the text on Hanna’s Instagram story that showed a classic Ford pickup truck.
Haley Cavinder and Jake Ferguson famously met when the quarterback was spending the summer around the Fort Myers, Florida, area in 2023. At the time, the Cavinder twins had retired from college basketball, and their careers seemed to be over. In June, the Cowboys player sent her a direct message on Instagram, and they started dating shortly afterwards.
Ultimately, Hanna and Haley Cavinder would return for a final season with the Hurricanes in 2024-25 after one year off the courts.
The couple’s relationship quietly became public, as Haley recognized in a Q&A session with her sister in January 2024:
“Honestly, I’m very confident and comfortable with sharing my relationship because Jake was very loud about it,” she shared. According to her, Ferguson’s attitude made her “feel very comfortable and confident sharing him as well,”
Jake Ferguson And Haley Cavinder Are Settling Wedding Disputes In The Gym
In a recent Under Armour ad, Jake Ferguson and Haley Cavinder partnered with the sports apparel company to decide who’s right every time they disagree with the planning of their wedding. Whenever they disagree, they put on their Under Armour clothing, and they hit the gym to compete. Whoever wins has the right to make the wedding decision.
The brand released the following statement on the clever campaign, one that they seem to want to repeat with other athletes:
“The episode serves as the launch of Problems Love Company, a new Under Armour video series that explores the dynamic when athletes train side-by-side and the impact on performance,” the brand said in a statement shared with SI Lifestyle. “A play on the phrase ‘misery loves company,’ this series pairs athletes together and lets the workout decide the story. No matter the relationship between the different duos, once the reps start, nobody wants to be the one who quits first.”
The wedding is set for Saturday, at an unknown location.
