Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert’s girlfriend, Madison Beer, is fresh off her Vancouver stop on the Locket Tour. She has been open about struggling emotionally in recent weeks.
Following her concert on Monday at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Center, Beer stayed behind to engage with fans, signing items and hugging some. She also checked in on a special fan who had waited to meet her.
Right after her concert, the pop singer asked fans if they enjoyed the show. She also added how meaningful that was to hear:
“I’m glad you liked the show. I needed to hear that so badly, I’ve been having a hard weekend. You guys are so sweet and amazing,” she said.
From here, Beer will make a stop in Seattle on Tuesday, where she will perform at the Paramount Theatre. Four days after that, she will be in Phoenix, performing at Arizona Financial Theatre. Her Locket Tour will continue with stops at San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Hollywood, Raleigh, Washington, Philadelphia, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, and finally, her last performance will be at Madison Square Garden in New York on July 13.
Madison Beer Opens Up On Mental Health Struggles And Importance Of Fan Engagement
Three weeks ago, Madison Beer used her stage to express what she has been feeling lately. She admitted with raw honesty that she is going through a hard time.
“I have to be honest, I don’t want to sit here and pretend that I’m so happy currently because I’ve been having a hard couple of days mentally,” she said.
Beer wants to especially assure those fans who are going through something similar that they are not alone. Like the way she creates happiness in the lives of others, the fans’ energy at her shows plays the same energy for her.
“I know there’s probably someone else in this room who is struggling right now, and I want you to know that you’re not alone,” she added. “When I go on stage, it truly helps me… I really appreciate all of you, and trust me when I say you guys save my lives just as much as I see you say I saved yours.”
Previously, Beer has spoken extensively on topics like anxiety, PTSD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and past suicidal thoughts. However, her fan support has remained a crucial part of her life amid all the chaos.
