‘Knee’s a Real Thing’: Analyst Makes Bold Case for Patriots To Sign A.J Brown Despite Devastating Medical Issue

The potential New England Patriots and A.J. Brown has been making the waves all throughout the season so far.

Brown has been facing knee issues from the early years of his career and some reports of the Rams passing up on trading for the Eagles star because of his condition.

Talking about whether the Patriots should still trade for Brown despite his knee condition, analyst John Marks highlighted that Mike Vrabel’s franchise would get a true number one receiver if they end up doing so.

Marks further called Brown a real pro and shared that the Eagles star is not out partying in the offseason and is instead constantly managing and taking care of his knee.

“The reality is that, yeah, like as he’s getting towards 30, the knee isn’t better. It’s only going to get worse. but his game isn’t built on speed. His game is built on being physical and powerful and all those things. So he’s, yeah, he’s not a four, three 40 runner. He’s not going to be doing that, but he’s a physical over the middle, going to catch the ball, a tireless worker. Teammates love them really. He’s been in Philadelphia for four years. They give up a first and a third on draft pick to get them. And I would do that trade all over again. And I’d give up more to get AJ Brown. He’s a true number one receiver. And when I look at the Patriots and what they need, they need more talent. And this ups the level of talent on offense for Drake May this year.

Insider Weighs In on The Chiefs Potentially Signing A.J Brown

Albert Breer recently spoke about the Chiefs potentially trading for A.J. Brown after Rashee Rice was ordered to spent 30 days in the jail because of a high speed crash case that took place in 2024.

Breer said on Wednesday: ”They didn’t spend a high draft pick on a receiver, they didn’t spend a lot of capital in the offseason on the position. They were relying on Rashee Rice, once again, to be their No. 1 receiver.”

Breer added that while the Chiefs were relying on Rice, it’s clear that the franchise can count on the star WR as while he had the potential to be a top 10 receiver in the NFL, he hasn’t been able to do that.

The analyst further coined the idea of the Chiefs looking at A.J. Brown but added that he doesn’t believe it would happen.
