Jonathan Owens’ Chicago Bears secured an 11-6 record in the regular season and qualified for the playoffs. They’re playing the Wild Card Round game against the Green Bay Packers today at Soldier Field.
Getting the home advantage is a big boost for the Bears. It’s their territory, weather wouldn’t affect them as much, they’ll have more support from home fans, and more. Owens, as always, has one more person rooting for him.
The legendary Olympic gymnast and Owens’ wife, Simone Biles, is in attendance at Soldier Field to witness the playoff showdown between the Bears and the Packers. Before kickoff, Biles posted a picture with a two-word message to hype up the home team.
In the picture, the ground can be seen covered with the nation’s flag.
“PLAYOFFS BABY,” Biles wrote.

The seven-time Olympic gold medal winner has been a constant feature at Bears’ games. Biles supports her husband during home games and often travels to different cities to cheer for him from the stands.
Early in the fourth quarter, things aren’t looking good for the Bears. They are currently trailing 9-21 and haven’t been able to stop the Packers’ attack. At halftime, the Bears were in a terrible spot, as the Packers took a 21-3 lead.
In the second half, however, the Bears are looking more in control of the game. They haven’t allowed the Packers to put more points on the board, while they’re slowly getting closer to erasing the point deficit.
Caleb Williams has gone 14 of 29 for 177 yards and has two interceptions already. Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers, on the other hand, has looked more composed with his 12 of 25 for 163 yards and three touchdowns.
How Did Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles Meet?
Owens and Biles have emerged as one of the power couples of the league. Their combined star power and worldwide fame have made fans take an interest in their relationship and how they came together.
During an appearance on The Pivot Podcast, Owens revealed that he had no idea who Biles was when he first saw her. Even at that time, Biles was a globally known and revered gymnast, but she wasn’t on Owens’ radar.
“When she won the Olympics, I was in college, and we didn’t have NBC. We didn’t have Olympics channels and we’re in camp. We’re in camp in late July, early August,” he said. “So, I’m not paying attention…I’m like, ‘Lemme see who this is.’ I never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity.”
It didn’t take long for Owens to realize Biles’ popularity and dominance in her chosen field.
