The buzz surrounding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding has intensified, with the ceremony drawing comparisons to Britain’s royal wedding.
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk and his wife Kristin shared their excitement while speaking to Page Six.
“Oh my gosh, everyone’s just so excited for them,” Kristin said at the Tight Ends & Friends Concert. “We’ve known Travis for a while now, and we’re just so happy that he found his person.”
Kyle added, “Really, it is just excitement… it’s the royal wedding!”
After Reuters shared a video of Page Six Style editor Elana Fishman describing the wedding as America’s answer to a royal wedding, fans quickly debated whether the comparison was appropriate.
“No, it’s not. Quit trying to force this,” one fan wrote.
Another commented: “Not even close to a royal wedding. More of a tabloid wedding.”
“Calling it America’s answer to a royal wedding is a stretch even for Page Six standards,” another user posted.
However, not everyone disagreed with the comparison.
“It’s the American royal wedding everyone is talking about. Even the haters on this post can’t wait to talk about it!” – one user wrote.
Another fan echoed the excitement, “That’s one wedding everyone will be watching! Can’t wait to see how they pull it off.”
Taylor Swift Showered With Praise Ahead of Wedding With Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce’s father Ed Kelce led the tributes to Taylor Swift when asked about the upcoming wedding.
“I am super excited,” he told Fox 29. “She is a sweetheart. That is truly the girl next door.”
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle praised Swift for attending the Tight End University.
“She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” he told People. “So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
Reports suggest Swift and Kelce are set to get married in New York City, but neither has commented on the speculation.
