Diana Russini has been facing a career-altering backlash from many fans and analysts after her pictures wearing a bikini with Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel, went viral.
The two were spotted by Page Six at a luxurious hotel in Arizona where they were captured holding hands, hugging and spending time together in a hot tub and by the pool.
Many fans and analysts questioned Russini’s ethical and journalistic integrity, including Jason Whitlock, who has been vocal about his criticism towards the popular NFL reporter.
In a recent conversation with a few people from the media, Whitlock highlighted that while Russini’s NFL career may be over, she might receive a deal from Netflix.
“I’m saying this in all seriousness. I can see Netflix financing a show like that, a sports talk show featuring Diana Ruffini. And chill with Diana Ruffini. Yeah, leaning into her sexuality. I could actually see that,” Whitlock said.
“Dianna Russini’s days as an NFL insider may be over, but there is a shot Netflix would finance a sports talk show with her where she leans into her promiscuity,” Whitlock wrote in the caption on X.
Dave Portnoy Makes Thoughts Clear on Dianna Russini, Mike Vrabel Controversy
Dave Portnoy, who is a big Mike Vrabel and Patriots guy, recently shared thoughts on the controversy that broke through after their pictures together went viral and said that there has to be a private investigator involved.
While Portnoy highlighted that it’s a sad situation for both the Russini and the Vrabel families, the NFL reporter’s decision to resign from the Athletic almost proves that something more than friendship was going on between the two.
The Barstool owner also said that the claim by both Russini and Vrabel that there were more people present that day in Arizona also feels bogus as none of those alleged friends stepped up to prove it.
“The best way to prove you weren’t canoodlingis not to be like, let’s cut this investigation off. which again, this should be the easiest thing to prove that Diana and Vrabel were telling the truth. Like, oh, here are the other people. Here they are. Here’s the travel receipts. Here’s the pictures. Here’s the texts. Case closed,” he said.
Vrabel and Russini are married to different people with kids.
