Drake Maye Acknowledged Ann Michael’s Support During Playoffs
Drake Maye is in the middle of his first deep playoff run. He’s aiming to earn a Super Bowl berth. Earlier in the wild-card round game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Maye led the Patriots to a blowout 16-3 win to advance to the divisional round.
In his post-game interview, he mentioned the support of his family, including his parents and three brothers who were present in Foxborough for the game.
“Yeah, my parents come to every game,” Maye said. They’re always here. My three brothers were here, which is pretty cool, all three of ’em being here.”
Maye also mentioned that he’ll be celebrating the win with his brothers by playing pingpong with them till late at night. Before he wrapped up his remarks, he also gave a nod to his wife Ann Michael.
“And obviously Ann Michael, can’t forget about her,” he added.
After defeating the Chargers, Maye’s Patriots defeated the Houston Texans 28-16 in the divisional round. Now the team is looking to win its first AFC Championship since the Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era.
