Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has been making headlines because of his relationship with singer and songwriter Madison Beer. They first sparked dating rumors in August last year.
Since then, they have made several public appearances, and Herbert recently joined Beer on her tour. The 27-year-old is on ‘The Locket Tour’, in support of her third studio album, ‘Locket’ which released earlier this year.
The tour started on May 11 in Krakow, Poland, and she is slated to do 32 shows across Europe and North America, concluding her tour in New York City on July 13. Beer recently had to stop one of her shows as fans in the crowd needed medical attention.
She posted a video on social media, which has been reshared by her fan accounts, explaining what happened at the show.
“There were 50 people waving their flashlights, and I kept singing, thinking security would see it and handle it. 10 seconds later, I look over to my right and see him just staring at me. I’m snapping and pointing toward the crowd where someone fainted, and he doesn’t even turn around,” she said.
After Beer saw some of her fans struggling and they needed help, she tried to bring it to security’s attention. However, her attempt didn’t work initially as the security didn’t understand what she was trying to convey.
“I’m looking at him, asking what he’s doing. I know I got frustrated, but guys, I’m watching a group of people who need medical help not get any attention. What am I supposed to do? Just keep going?” she added.
Beer clarified that she hasn’t experienced the same thing at other venues and that she doesn’t like to snap at people. But in that particular situation, it was necessary for her to step up and confront the person responsible.
Skip Bayless Trashed Justin Herbert
Herbert has proved himself to be one of the best QBs in the league, but his brilliance is limited only to the regular season. In six years, he has only played three postseason games and has a 0-3 record.
With the new season coming up, fans expect Herbert to step up and lead his team to a good playoff run this year. However, he reportedly decided to miss two weeks of team activities to join his girlfriend on her tour.
“I’m sure he’s madly in love, and he posted on her birthday in March…He posted, ‘She’s my favorite person of all time, she’s changed my life forever.’ Okay, so he’s smitten. But if you’re running this franchise, if you are at the top, if you’re Jim Harbaugh, you’re thinking, ‘Are we sure about this?’ Because it’s not exactly like she’s the college sweetheart or the high school sweetheart that he’s been with forever. This is a 10-month relationship,” he said.
Bayless believes that Herbert lacks the winning mentality, and his actions are proving him right.
