Emmanuel Acho Rips Todd Monken Over Shedeur Sanders Hesitation As Browns QB

Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns franchise have found their new head coach in Todd Monken, who has replaced Kevin Stefanski after his 6-year tenure with the team.

Monken is coming off a successful three-year period with the Ravens as their offensive coordinator and has done some impressive work with Lamar Jackson, who is considered among the best quarterbacks in the league.

One of the biggest reasons behind Stefanski’s firing is that he handled the quarterback situation at Cleveland, especially with Shedeur Sanders.

Now that Monken has taken the wheel in his hands, the question about Shedeur’s status with the team was raised, to which he said, like any other position on the team, the quarterback position is also yet to be determined.

”What is your plan for Shedeur Sanders? It is not a great draft classic quarterbacks. We do not want to trade up for the number one pick and go get Fernando Mendoza who doesn’t who we don’t know if he’s a sure thing. So, what is your plan for Shedeur.” Emmanul Acho questioned. (6:30)

“If it was the main question, I don’t like Todd Monkin’s indifference. What I would have wanted is Shedeur is a guy. Oh, I’m building this team around Shedeur Sanders.”

“Here’s why. Because anybody who you have to depend on next depend on next season. Blind confidence. You know, you’re gonna have to depend on Denzel Ward. You know, you’re going to have to depend on a freakazoid like Myles Garrett.” Acho explained.

Shedeur Sanders Reacts to Todd Monken’s QB Comments

Shedeur Sanders addressed his new head coach, Todd Monken, on the quarterback situation at Cleveland, where he said that while he is excited about the ex-Colorado star, the position is not booked for anybody.

During a recent appearance on “Up and Adams,” Shedeur Sanders made a logical statement and said Monken’s answer is what is expected from a head coach, as he has to prove himself every day to everybody and also to himself.

“So it’s kind of like having goals and accomplishing those goals whether it’s small goals and the small goals will end up to long-term success. So it’s kind of like just hit your landmarks and what you need to do.” Shedeur said.

Shedeur further said he is going to follow the pathway where you focus deeply on everything that you want to achieve.
