Joe Burrow has expressed his unhappiness with the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in the season, but he has not yet requested a trade. He had suffered many injuries from a lackluster offensive line that often failed to protect him from sacks and tackles, and many believe that this has frustrated the star quarterback.
In an interview with the NFL’s Spanish language broadcaster during the Pro Bowl preparations, Burrow was asked if he is “honestly” happy in Cincinnati. Here is his answer:
“Yeah. I am! I think everybody has bad days, sometimes they fall on press conference days, so that’s how it goes sometimes,” he answered while laughing.
Burrows did not really say he did not want out, with several fans slamming the poster of the video, Polymarket Football, for putting words in the quarterback’s mouth. He just noted that he has some bad days sometimes, but some fans also took that as a cryptic message that he somehow wants out of Cincinnati.
“good ole polymarket football having a bad news day and trying to spin some words. what’s new” one fan stated.
For now, there is mixed reporting on Burrow’s future with the Bengals, with teammates stating that they believe Burrow will stay, while fans are reading into his actions and believing that he does want out. For now, nothing is still concrete, but some teams are already reportedly trying to make a move for a trade.
Minnesota Vikings Making Biggest Trade Push For Joe Burrow
Reports are indicating that multiple teams are actually interested in trading for Burrow. However, one team that seems to be prepared to go all-out will be the Minnesota Vikings. Sports Illustrated’s Frant Cohn is reporting that the Minnesota Vikings are ready to offer a lot to the Bengals just to get the former LSU standout.
“They want to get right back into contention,” Cohn said. “They’re planning to offer J.J. McCarthy and Jonathan Greenard, and two first‑round picks to the Cincinnati Bengals for Joe Burrow. If the Bengals say no, then they might go out and get Kirk Cousins, bring him back.”
Still, that is if the Bengals are actually interested in keeping Burrow. The quarterback himself has not stated he wants to leave, even though he has expressed his frustrations multiple times.
