Canadian rapper Drake surprised his fans by releasing three albums on Friday. Apart from the much-anticipated “Iceman,” Drake also dropped two previously unannounced projects, “HABIBTI” and “Maid of Honour.”
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams reacted to the album releases.
“Dat boi went 3 of em,” he wrote on X.
A few weeks earlier, Drake seemingly trolled Williams in the midst of the rollout for “Iceman.” The rapper posted a picture of himself wearing a Packers jacket and standing in front of blocks of ice in downtown Toronto.
Drake and Williams share the nickname “Iceman,” and the fact that the rapper donned the gear of the Bears’ divisional rivals led many to believe it was a jab at the Chicago quarterback.
San Antonio Spurs legend George Gervin was originally given the “Iceman” moniker. Williams claimed the nickname after leading the Bears to multiple late-game comebacks.
Caleb Williams Facing Massive Pressure Thanks To Chicago Bears’ Wild Schedule
Caleb Williams’ Bears have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL next season. The team will start off against three of the best defenses in the league: the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles.
This is soon followed by games against the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This means the pressure will be on Caleb Williams to perform well early on and give his team some momentum as it looks to build on a strong season.
