The Mike Vrabel – Dianna Russini scandal is far from over. A new chapter has been added to their saga based on new information obtained by TMZ. The media outlet recently published a report that is making things worse for Vrabel and Russini.
As per TMZ, Vrabel and Russini rented a private boat together in June 2021 and spent a few hours on the boat. The boat was booked in Putnam County, Tennessee, and as per TMZ, Vrabel and Russini didn’t have any company.
What makes this even worse is the fact that Russini was pregnant at the time with her first child. She gave birth to her first child, named Michael Andrew, in August 2021. Her second son, Joseph “Joey” Kevin, was born in October 2022. Russini got married in September 2020.
“Documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, show both signed the company waiver before heading out on a lake … and our source says there was no visible PDA before they departed,” TMZ reported. “We’re also told Vrabel and Russini appeared cautious about photos being taken.”
Russini declined to take any picture with the staff, whereas Vrabel clicked one and requested the staff not to post that picture publicly. All of this drama and new information on their affair is no longer interesting to fans.
“The story is already bad and had ruined reputations. Why does the media have to go so hard, what’s there to gain from this?” a fan wrote.
“Leave this situation alone already. Do these people have to be destroyed as retribution for their mistakes to satisfy the masses?” a fan wrote.
“Why is this still a public news story? Do people actually give af? Like seriously….do they legitimately care about this? Assuming it’s all performative outrage again,” a fan wrote.
“Just resign now @CoachVrabel50 the longer you stay around, the longer both families are ridiculed and disrespected….” A fan wrote.
“Their spouses can’t possibly stick around, can they? You know there’s going to be a lot more of this coming out,” a fan wrote.
The ongoing drama is also putting a lot of pressure on Vrabel and the New England Patriots regarding his head coaching career.
Mike Vrabel Wants to Focus on His Family and Football
During a recent press conference, Mike Vrabel said that he wants to focus on his family and coaching the Patriots as they are the two most important things in his life. Vrabel said that he wants to be the best version of himself for them.
“What I believe is best for the two most important things in my life – my family and this football team – is for us to take the necessary steps to work together, and to give them what I told them I’d give them, which is the best version of me, and that’s what we’re going to do,” he said.
While the pressure is coming from social media outrage, Vrabel will likely continue to coach the Patriots.
