Brandon Aubrey Contract: All We Know About Dallas Kicker’s Earnings With Cowboys

Brandon Aubrey is one of the best kickers in the NFL. As a result of that, the Dallas Cowboys placed a second-round tender on him ahead of free agency.

Both sides looked to strike a long-term deal before the start of free agency, which begins next week. The Cowboys reportedly offered Aubrey a deal that would have made him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL, but the two sides remain apart from a deal, as Aubrey seeks a deal worth around $10 million annually.

Aubrey’s contract on the tender is worth $5.76 million. Aubrey will have the chance to negotiate with other teams in which Dallas would have an offer to match it. If Dallas chooses not to match a team’s offer, they’ll receive a second-round pick.

Brandon Aubrey Is Worth A Top-Dollar Contract

Since entering the NFL in 2023, Brandon Aubrey has become one of the best kickers in the league. He’s been named to the Pro Bowl in each of his three seasons played and is a three-time All-Pro.

He’s made 88.2% percent of his field goal tries (112-of-127), has made 126-out-of-130 extra point attempts, and has scored 462 career points.

Aubrey signed a three-year, $2.695 million rookie contract in 2023. He’s made a total of $2.7 million in his career. He’s set to make more than double that this season.

As of right now, there aren’t may rumors or talk that suggest a team will match Dallas‘ offer and will give up a second-round pick. It would be a surprise to see a team give up that much for a kicker, despite how talented Aubrey is.
