After the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs, defensive end Brandon Graham shortly announced his decision to retire from the NFL on March 18, 2025.
He retired after a 15-year career that included becoming an All-Pro, Pro Bowler, and Super Bowl champion, while also being one of Philadelphia’s longest-tenured and most consistent defensive players in franchise history. However, he came out of retirement, signing a contract to rejoin the Eagles for the 2025-2026 season.
Graham played in eight games last season, totaling eight tackles and three sacks. With his future in the NFL unclear, Graham announced Monday on his Instagram account that he’ll have a press conference tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. regarding his “future plans.”
Graham is expected to announce his plans to return for another during tomorrow’s press conference. In February, Graham said on his podcast, “Brandon Graham Unlocked,” that would come back for one more season if general manager Howie Roseman made the call. We’ll see what happens tomorrow at his press conference.
Graham also publicly stated, “hopefully we can win another in my last season coming up,” earlier this March, signaling for a potential return.
Latest News Regarding Eagles WR AJ Brown
Another player who is in question to return back to the Philadelphia Eagles this season is wide receiver AJ Brown. The team that traded for Brown in 2022 could trade him to another team prior the 2026 season.
Brown has been rumored in trade talks prior to this offseason, but more chatter has evolved regarding a potential trade. Whether it’s with the New England Patriots or Los Angeles Rams or another team, Brown has been linked to multiple trade rumors.
Despite all the rumors, Roseman reiterated yesterday that Brown is still a member of the Eagles right now.
The answer sounded like Roseman was more annoyed by being asked the question all offseason, rather than confidently speaking of Brown being with the team for their future plans.
There’s plenty of time for a trade to happen and this offseason has already been a wild one. Perhaps a potential trade could be on the table.
