Tyreek Hill is a free agent and many have linked him to reuniting with the Kansas City Chiefs. However, both parties involved must have a mutual feeling about a potential reunion.
Days after being released by the Miami Dolphins, Hill has yet to speak to the Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid despite some thinking a reunion could be in place.
Reid spoke on the situation and commented saying that he didn’t know if Hill is healthy right now to do anything. He also confirmed that the two sides have yet to talk since he recently became a free agent.
Hill dislocated his knee and suffered a torn ACL in Week 4 last season, causing him to miss most of the 2025-2026 season. He finished the season with just 21 receptions for 265 yards and a touchdown.
Hill may not be ready for training camp, which may keep teams away from signing him right away. Hill may have to prove to teams that he’s healthy enough to play this season and still be an effective, speedy receiver.
Andy Reid Said There’s Been ‘Communication’ With Travis Kelce About Returning
One player that Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs have had contact with is veteran tight end Travis Kelce. Kelce is still undecided about whether or not he will be returning in 2026 for a 14th season.
The Chiefs said that they will be patient with Kelce’s decision, and Reid said that the team has remained in contact with him.
Kelce has mulled the idea of retiring the last few offseason’s, but the early belief is that he returns to KC this year.
