New England Patriots’ star QB Drake Maye had a season to remember with the Massachusetts-based franchise, playing in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks. While the six-time Super Bowl-winning side succumbed to the Seahawks with a scoreline of 13-29, a major component behind the Patriots’ journey to Super Bowl LX could be attributed to Maye’s on-field output.
Maye also almost clinched the 2025 MVP award after garnering 361 points as opposed to the eventual winner, Matthew Stafford’s 366-point tally. The 23-year-old signal caller’s breakout 2025 NFL season saw him play in 17 games while throwing for 4,394 yards with 31 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
His off-field life is equally happening, as Maye is now speculated to welcome a new member to his family with his wife Ann Michael. While there are no official confirmations supporting this claim, a “day in the life” TikTok posted by Ann Michael on January 13th saw her use Baby Steps as her background music, which has prompted fans and followers to wonder if there indeed will be any baby steps in Drake and Ann’s life soon.
Often seen posting gameday vlogs or cooking videos, Ann has now garnered over 500k followers on TikTok, whilst also accumulating over 10 million likes on her content.
After being together since they were mere teenagers, Ann and Michael got married on June 21, 2025, in an intimate ceremony at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina.
Who is Drake Maye’s Wife Ann Michael?
The couple first met while attending William Amos Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina, where their relationship first began.
During her high school years, Ann was deeply involved in athletics, serving as captain of the softball, field hockey, and cheerleading teams. Her connection to sports didn’t end there, as she later went on to coach an under-10 girls’ softball team in Chapel Hill.
On the academic front, is reported to have graduated from UNC in 2025 with a degree in business administration and is currently pursuing further studies at the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
