AJ Brown’s Trade Story Takes Twist After Sighting at NFL Practice Facility

AJ Brown has been the talk of town for a while now, with everyone convinced his move away from the Philadelphia Eagles is just a matter of time.

There appears to have been some tension in the camp for a while, with a trade to the New England Patriots seeming more and more likely as time goes on.

But the reality is that Brown is still a contracted player for the Eagles, and no matter the speculation, he needs to be looked at as a viable commodity owing to his importance to the team. That being said, few would think that there was any coming back from a visibly souring relationship between player and team.

So it would come as a surprise to some that Brown was indeed spotted at the Eagles’ practice facility while in town for his camp, with local reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks confirming that things seem to be cordial between him and the franchise.

It has prompted some belief that Brown still has a chance to stay with the team, even though just a week ago, most seemed convinced he was on his way after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.

    Post-June 1 Trade Still Likely

Brown’s appearance is bound to raise a few eyebrows, but his trade was always expected in the first week of June as the Eagles sorted out their roster following the draft.

Philadelphia have already confirmed they received offers for the player but the asking price has not been met. That could change soon with the Patriots expected to be one of the main landing spots.
