Tom Brady’s niece Maya Brady drew praise from the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback after breaking a record of her own on Saturday.
The former UCLA graduate, who currently plays softball for the AUSL franchise Oklahoma City Spark, became the player with the most home runs in a single season during a 12-4 win against the Carolina Blaze.
The senior Brady (who boasts a $350,000,000 net worth, per Celebrity Net Worth) wrote in a post on Instagram stories, saying:
“This woman is a superstar @mayabrady.
Maya Brady currently sits at 10 home runs through the season in 19 games. However, the celebration was short-lived as Megan Grant of the Portland Cascade scored her tenth home run of the season just hours later.
After two Pac-12 Player of the Year Awards and three All-American selections, Brady was selected first overall in the AUSL Expansion Draft by the Oklahoma City Spark.
Maya Brady’s mom and Tom Brady’s sister, Maureen, was also an All-American softball player for Fresno State, while her younger sister Hannah has followed in their uncle’s footsteps, choosing Michigan as her destination for volleyball.
Tom Brady Slaps Logan Paul
Tom Brady created a lot of buzz on social media as his Fanatics Fanfest interaction with YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul went viral.
While the exact conversation between the two wasn’t revealed, Paul claimed Brady slapping him was in retaliation for him trolling the seven-time Super Bowl champ for losing to him in flag football, claiming Brady was a bad example for the youth.
This incident came just a day after Brady expressed his interest in getting a possible collaboration with the WWE. However, WWE hasn’t made any claims about this incident being scripted by them.
During an appearance on Cody Rhodes’ podcast, Brady had said:
“I need to get an invite. I’ve been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with some storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I’m retired from football, and I have an opportunity to go out there and still showcase that I’m a little bit of an athlete.”
Whether Tom Brady slapping Logan Paul will earn him a WWE storyline is yet to be seen. However, he definitely proved that he can work the crowd should ‘Triple H’ come calling.
