Jalen Hurts’ Former Coach Rips Cam Skattebo With Three-Word Comment on Backflip Fail

Cam Skattebo may have recovered from an injury suffered last year at the New York Giants, but his time in the John Harbaugh era may be compromised due to a bizarre potential injury setback that was totally avoidable. Skattebo pulled off a backflip at Fanatics Fest designed to show himself healed and ready for the new season, but it came at a cost.

The backflip caused him to lose balance and fall over, and while at first glance things look okay, the act itself has come under fire, with fans and now industry experts deeming it completely unnecessary.

One such individual is Quincy Avery, who has coached some of the best quarterbacks in the country, with Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes progressing under his tutelage. Avery simply wrote, “What an idiot” as he saw what happened.

Fans Collectively Condemn Cam Skattebo’s Actions

Fans were quick to add to Skattebo’s misery as they condemned the unnecessary backflip.

Skattebo has been a long-time WWE fan, and even earned the nickname of “Nature Boy” in high school based on his love for former world champion Ric Flair. Skattebo has appeared a few times on WWE TV too, and perhaps could be angling for a foot in the door with regular appearances at common events.
