Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Moves That Could Happen Soon

The Philadelphia Eagles are only two seasons removed from winning their second Super Bowl in franchise history.

Philadelphia ended up in the playoffs last season, winning the NFC East division with an 11-6 record. Their season ended with a 23-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.

As the Eagles look to repeat as division champs and make a Super Bowl run, they’ve been a number of moves this offseason to shape their team for the 2026 season. With the offseason just beginning less than a month ago, the Eagles could be in play for some trades before the start of the season.

Let’s explore some possible trades the Eagles could get involved in.

3 Potential Trades Philadelphia Eagles Could Make

#1 – AJ Brown traded to New England Patriots

One of the most talked about players that could be potentially traded this offseason is Eagles wide receiver, AJ Brown. Brown has been linked to trade rumors for the last couple of seasons and there were rumors that the Eagles were interested in trading him to the Los Angeles Rams for Davante Adams.

The New England Patriots remain interested in Brown and could reunite him with head coach Mike Vrabel. The Patriots would likely have to send at least a first-round pic to the Eagles for Brown.

#2 – Eagles acquire edge rusher Jonathan Greenard from Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Conell said at this week’s NFL owner’s meeting that he expects edge rusher Jonathan Greenard to be back this season, but said there is a possibility of a trade. The Eagles, with how aggressive they are in free agency and with them looking to beef up their pass rush (especially with Brandon Graham expected to possibly retire) could give up a mid-round pick for Greenard.

#3 – Eagles trade RB Tank Bigsby

The Eagles acquired running back Tank Bigsby last season from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for fifth and sixth-round picks. He appeared in 16 games last season, rushing for 356 yards, and two touchdowns while averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

The Eagles still have backup running back and special teamer Will Shipley and signed free agent running back Dameon Pierce this offseason. Maybe they move Bigsby around draft time for some value.
