After making an appearance in the New York Knicks-Cleveland Cavaliers series, Taylor Swift grabbed headlines once again by pulling up to Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The sight of the pop star, however, did not sit well with some netizens.
Apparently, there are some who did not get over Swift’s apparent support for the Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals. On social media, fans questioned the true loyalty of the “Blank Space” singer, even claiming that Swift brings bad fortune to the Knicks.
“is Taylor Swift a real Knicks fan now?” one fan asked.
“She’s not from New York. Why does she get a break?” another fan tweeted.
“Well that explains it. She’s equally a jinx as Trump,” another fan claimed.
“She’s from Pennsylvania- she’s a 76ers fan,” one fan pointed out.
“She’s not a Knicks fan. You can’t just show up and get attention like that,” another fan protested.
“Wasn’t she just a Cavs fan the other week?” another fan recalled.
Notably, the Knicks won the last time Swift was in live attendance. It remains to be seen whether they’ll have the same fortune as she watches Game 4 at MSG.
Interestingly, there are rumors that Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce will take place at the World’s Most Famous Arena. Reports vary on their wedding date, with some sources stating that it’s June 13 while others have it on July 3.

As Game 4 tipped off, Alex Schiffer of Front Office Sports tweeted a picture of a star-studded list, reportedly a roll call of celebrities for Wednesday night’s Knicks-Spurs clash.

Yet again, Madison Square Garden is the hottest ticket in town as the Knicks and the Spurs jostle for momentum and control of the championship series.
