Jeremy Sochan Comically Begs Knicks’ Josh Hart for ‘Plus One’ Spot at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s MSG Wedding Following Invite Snub

The New York Knicks are once again at the center of pop culture, and it’s not just because they won the 2026 NBA title. On more than one occasion during their storied playoff run, Taylor Swift was in attendance to watch them win.

It’s hardly a surprise, then, that the Knicks’ starting lineup has been reportedly invited to Swift’s upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce. Reacting to this report, Knicks reserve Jeremy Sochan tried to find a way to make it to the guest list.

“What about me? @joshhart can I be your plus 1?”

Even if Hart were to cave in to this public request, Sochan might still be finding himself on the outside looking in. According to reports, Swift and Kelce have decided not to allow plus-ones for their wedding.

On the other hand, it’s possible that a Knicks contingent of Hart, Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns will be present when Swift and Kelce tie the knot. The last time Swift was in the same building with these five players, they were capping off the largest comeback in NBA Finals history by defeating the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 in Game 4.

That dramatic comeback took place at Madison Square Garden, which has long been rumored as the site of the Swift-Kelce wedding. The celebration is expected to take place this week.

Report: Knicks Have Shown “Some Interest” in LeBron James Amidst Free Agency Craze

Even as blockbuster trades and movements have unfolded all across the NBA, the Knicks have remained largely silent. With the exception of Mitchell Robinson signing with Eastern Conference rival Boston Celtics, the Knicks have stayed out of the picture after winning the NBA title.

However, a new report claims that the team might have a prized target after all. According to insider Jake Fischer, the Knicks have shown “some interest” in free agent LeBron James.

Going all the way back to 2010, when James was mulling his options after seven seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, LBJ has been linked to New York City. It remains to be seen, however, if the Knicks will actually have the cap space to pull off a signing like this.
