“LeBron to the Sixers Would Feed Generations”: NBA Fans Start Dreaming Big After 76ers President Brother’s Viral LeBron James Post

The Philadelphia 76ers have suddenly become active in the trade market with their decision to bring in Jaylen Brown, and now LeBron James has entered the conversation. The four-time NBA champion earlier decided to move on from the LA Lakers and has since been involved in speculation on social media. The latest one had 76ers fans dreaming of a superteam in Philly.

The offseason is a time when fans keep a close watch on every social media movement that might hint at the teams’ upcoming decisions. One such cryptic post came from 76ers president Mike Gansey’s brother, Steve Gansey, on X. He posted an old image of the popular high school basketball invitational event, ABCD Camp, that featured some of the biggest future stars of the NBA and college basketball.

The image had Mike Gansey standing beside LeBron James. The post caught the attention of fans, who began linking it to an LBJ trade.

    A user wrote:

Mike Gansey’s brother posted this pic.
LeBron to the Sixers would feed generations……..”

Another Philly fan wanted LBJ to answer the call:

    “Embiid
    Lebron
    Brown
    VJ Maxey
Is a straight ticket to the Eastern Conference finals Balls in your court Lebron”

One more user even tried to convince Gansey’s brother in their way:

“Mr. Gansey’s Brother this happens we buying you stock in wawa”

One more fan followed suit and wrote:

“Steve.. i will give you my life if this happens.”

The prospects of Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown and LeBron James playing together look like a dream for Philly fans, but their current cap space might be a tight fit for James. He earned more than $50 million last season and is expected to come at a midlevel exception next season, averaging about $15 million in salary.

However, the management has $6m left of the mid-level exception cap and a $4.2m traded player exception to work with. That might allow the team to sign James for the next season.

Can the LeBron James-Mike Gansey connection bring another superstar to Philly?

Besides participating in basketball camps with each other, LeBron James and Mike Gansey also worked together in Ohio with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where Gansey was the assistant general manager in 2017. Moreover, the former basketball player is one of the most decorated college players, who held several records during his time in college.

That connection might be alluring to James, especially since the team has already secured one of the deadliest pick-and-roll combinations of the Eastern Conference with Brown and Embiid. However, King James is weighing his options before taking a decision that might be the last of his career.
