Cardi B Sums Up Donald Trump’s Presence at Knicks Game With Hilarious ‘Principal’ Vibe Remark

In the aftermath of U.S. President Donald Trump’s appearance in the NBA Finals, fans are still buzzing about the presence he had inside Madison Square Garden. One prominent New Yorker had less-than-flattering things to say about the Chief Executive’s vibes.

Cardi B, the Grammy Award-winning hip hop star from the Bronx, performed at halftime of Game 3 between the Knicks and the Spurs. On a live stream, the “WAP” rapper said that Trump brought a foreboding presence to the game.

“It felt kinda dark…It felt like the principal was there, and everybody had to be on their best behavior.”

Cardi also weighed in on the game’s outcome, which did not sit well at all with her fellow New Yorkers.

“Nevertheless, it was a great game. The Knicks lost, but I’m still so proud of them…It is what it is.”

In yet another tightly contested game, the Spurs got the better of the Knicks, withstanding a late rally in the fourth quarter to pull of a 115-111 victory.

Victor Wembanyama had 32 points on 11-for-18 shooting from the field, while Stephon Castle added 23 points, five rebounds, and five assists. On the Knicks side, Jalen Brunson put up 32 points but committed five turnovers and five personal fouls.

Stephen A. Smith Fires Back at President Trump Following “IQ” Comments After Game 3: “The Brother Wasn’t Awake”

In a media session after Game 3, President Trump took a jab at ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, questioning his IQ while also calling him “a nice guy.”

It did not take long for Smith to fire back at Trump by referencing the viral clip of the President supposedly catching some shut-eye during Game 3.

“The brother wasn’t awake. If it was that important for you to be there, why did you look like you were asleep? Didn’t you call out former President Joe Biden, ‘Sleepy Joe’? Well, what should we call you?”

With Trump questioning Smith’s intelligence, the “First Take” personality has even more fuel to criticize the Chief Executive. Notably, Smith’s name has been floated among the list of presidential aspirants for 2028.
