Kentucky’s Jayden Quaintance Makes His Return from Injury in Grand Fashion

Mark Pope and Kentucky were troubled with multiple injuries to many key players. And Jayden Quaintance was one of those injured players. Arizona State transfer suffered ACL tear in Febraury 2025. He underwent surgery and missed most of the season.

Quaintance was doubtful to return ahead of the NCAA tournament. However, Mark Pope could not use his marquee man for his surge in the March Madness. Now, the 6’10 big man is advancing well in his recovery. And the most recent clip from a practice session suggests that his return to 100% fitness might not be too far away.

The practice drill was focused on the impact on his knees and his vertical. His stamina was tested as well as his bounce. On all prospects he looked pretty comfortable on his injured knee.
