Flory Bidunga has officially pulled out of the 2026 NBA Draft and will return to college for another year. His decision did not surprise many people, given that he wasn’t a guaranteed early pick in this year’s draft.
His return to college, however, won’t be with the Kansas Jayhawks, where he was instrumental across a short spell. He will instead transfer to Louisville, where he committed back in April during the college transfer portal period. In what is clearly a major victory for head coach Pat Kelsey, Bidunga adds a completely different element to the team that is eyeing a major prize after investing heavily in its squad.
Fans commented on the situation on X, with some suggesting a national championship might be on the way, while others questioned just how good Bidunga really was.
“NBA didn’t want a 6’7” center?” one fan asked.

What’s Next for Flory Bidunga?
After pulling out of the NBA Draft, Flory Bidunga is expected to join up with his new teammates at the Louisville Cardinals, as Pat Kelsey attempts to get a top team ready to fight for the title this season.
Alongside Bidunga, several other names are joining Louisville, including top recruit Obinna Ekezie Jr. and transfers Karter Knox, Jason Shelstad, and more.
