Cam Coleman and Arch Manning have joined forces ahead of a season that could be instrumental in determining the next decade or longer of the lives of both players. The hype for Manning is immense, as is for Coleman, and images of the two on the same practice field are circling the internet.
The two appeared at a spring practice on Tuesday, and fans used an Instagram post about it from the collegefootballu to voice their reactions. Some reactions were negative.
“gonna be sh*tty once again,” one posted.
“all that to maybe beat Georgia,” another posted.
“They’ll choke again and lose to another 4-8 team,” one added.
Other fans posted their positive reactions.
“Looks like Arch has been in the weight room,” one noted.
“Texas will DEFINITELY be a problem this coming season….they have EVERYTHING you need to win it all,” another added.
“This will be the most loaded offense in the country this season 🔥🤘🏽” another predicted.
Manning and Coleman will be tasked with keeping the momentum of the program on the right side of .500. The pressure, many would argue, is beyond that with a deep playoff push being the bar for many. Of course, to get there, Manning and Coleman will need to have career highs.
Arch Manning and Cam Coleman Eye Breakout Third Seasons
Arch Manning is heading into what many expect to be his third season with double-digit starts for the Texas Longhorns. Cam Coleman is also expected to see a similar number of starts.
As such, Manning will hope to blow past the bar after an improved outing in 2025, but one that still fell short of 30 touchdown passes. Fernando Mendoza, the presumptive first overall pick, is coming off a season with a national championship and more than 40 touchdowns. Manning will need a similar season to have any shot at living up to the hype.
Coleman, meanwhile, is in a similar boat after an improved outing in 2025 in terms of production, but one still not quite up to his potential. To have a shot at the top of the first round in 2027 or beyond, Coleman will need to cross the 1,000-yard mark with double-digit touchdowns in the eyes of many.
Will Coleman and Manning have a season good enough to catapult the new duo to the NFL?
