Ahmad Hudson and Lane Kiffin’s partnership could be sunsetting. It all could have started with Hudson’s visit to Nebraska on Friday. The decision to take a hard look at the program was not exactly made under the cover of darkness, as the tight end prospect announced his arrival on social media.
Hudson posted a pair of pictures that included his location in Lincoln, Nebraska, and what appeared to be an AI poster image of the tight end in football gear with the dates June 5 and June 6.
“OV Weekend 😤😤 #GBR,” he posted.
Nebraska fans applauded the trip and encouraged him to take more steps toward joining the school.
“I never doubted you,” one posted.
“Heck ya. Enjoy yourself,” another added.
“How funny and awesome would it be if you just flipped to Nebraska. Sounds like a great idea,” one replied.
More fans responded to Hudson’s post to celebrate the good news.
“Enjoy your visit to Lincoln!” one responded.
“Let’s goooo!!!!” another added.
“LETS GO. GBR 🌽” one echoed.
Of course, a visit is different from a commitment, but the tight end prospect can’t travel everywhere, so Nebraska has a good chance of convincing the tight end to switch.
Ahmad Hudson’s Potential Landing Spots Aside From Lane Kiffin’s Team
Ahmad Hudson traveled halfway across the country from Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana, for the Nebraska visit, which seemingly might increase the college’s chances. However, visiting is not committing, which means other schools could still win over the five-star tight end prospect.
Hudson is currently committed to Lane Kiffin and LSU, but other teams could also be in the running if a switch does happen, because choosing to switch is the first step to switching to Nebraska. According to 247 Sports, dozens of teams have interest in the prospect, so Hudson could go anywhere he wants if LSU is not the answer.
If staying somewhat local is a concern, Alabama could make sense, as could Arkansas. The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes could also make logical sense. Missouri, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, and Louisiana Tech could all have a case.
Will Hudson change his mind and leave LSU at the altar? If so, the possibilities are seemingly endless.
