Even after a disappointing 2025-26 season, Colorado Buffaloes football HC Deion Sanders continues to make headlines.
While questions around the program’s on-field inconsistency continues, Coach Prime reminded everyone this week why he remains one of the most entertaining personalities in sports by calling out someone from his inner circle over a misuse of his business deal.
Deion Sanders Calls Out Karrueche Tran in a Lighthearted Moment
In a lighthearted video shared on social media, Deion Sanders jokingly questioned his daughter about who in the family might be “abusing” his Nike deal.
“How do you feel when somebody abuses the privilege of your Nike deal?” Sanders asked.
His daughter, Deiondra Sanders, began guessing names starting with Shilo, then cycling through other family members. But Sanders quickly shut that down, noting his sons have their own deals.
Later when the camera turned to the other side, the answer became obvious. Standing right beside them was Karrueche Tran, who couldn’t help but laugh as Sanders revealed he had found boxes of Nike gear in his office.
“The other day I found two boxes,” Sanders said, as Tran smiled through the playful accusation.
Tran didn’t shy away from the moment.
“It came from him,” she said, pointing straight back at Sanders.
She further explained that since Sanders likes to see her in stylish outfits, she’s simply doing her part to keep up appearances. She also noted that she often shares items with Sanders’ family,
Sanders Family Deal With Nike
The whole moment ties back to Sanders’ renewed partnership with Nike. He returned to the brand in 2023 when he took over the Colorado coaching job.
That deal comes with access to exclusive gear, which has clearly become a shared benefit within his family and closed ones.
His son Shedeur Sanders has signed his own NIL deal with the brand, further establishing the family’s presence with the brand.
While Sanders is known for his intensity and high expectations on the field, moments like this highlight a different side of him that fans find delightful.
