Tennessee Volunteers’ Nate Ament claimed to be the “luckiest man alive” upon seeing USC Trojans’ Jazzy Davidson’s photodump on Instagram on March 15. He followed up his first comment, writing, “Very high level post 🐶.”
The highlight photo from the carousel was Davidson posing in a sea-green bikini top with a straw hat while pouting.
With his comments, Ament seemingly confirmed that the Tennessee star is dating Davidson.
Who is Jazzy Davidson?
Jazzy Davidson is a freshman guard for the USC Trojans women’s basketball team. She was the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2025 before joining the University of Southern California.
Davidson is originally from Clackamas, Oregon, where she studied at Clackamas High School. Her historic NCAA Tournament debut came on Saturday. Playing for the No. 9 seed USC Trojans, she led her team to a 71-67 overtime win against the No. 8 seed Clemson Tigers.
Taking a look at her performance highlights in the game, she became the first freshman in 25 years to record at least 30 points, five rebounds, and five assists in her first NCAA Tournament game.
Looking back at the 2025-26 regular season, Davidson was the only Division I player (men’s or women’s) to lead her team outright in all five major categories: points (17.9), rebounds (5.6), assists (4.1), steals (2.0), and blocks (2.0).
Jazzy Davidson chose USC while snubbing offers from the University of Connecticut, the University of California, Los Angeles, Texas Christian University, and Duke University.
Nate Ament and Jazzy Davidson Had Stellar Debut Seasons
Nate Ament and his girlfriend, Jazzy Davidson, showed brilliant performances during the 2025-26 college basketball season. Davidson was named the 2026 USBWA Tamika Catchings National Freshman of the Year. She was also a First-Team All-Big Ten selection and made the Big Ten All-Defensive Team.
Similarly, Ament has played a major role for the Tennessee Volunteers, which has reached the Sweet 16. The team will face Iowa State on Friday, March 27. Individually, he was voted to the All-SEC Second Team and the SEC All-Freshman Team. He also won SEC Freshman of the Week a program-record six times.
Currently, Ament is projected as a top pick in the 2026 NBA Draft lottery.
