The UConn Huskies may have failed to win back-to-back NCAA national titles, but the team is standing strong, even after losing some of their best players. However, the future is looking bright so far, the up and coming stars like incoming sophomore guard Kelis Fisher, who is expected to have a bigger role this season after Azzi Fudd left for the WNBA.
Fisher was enjoying her time off and posted about her chic outfit on Instagram. She still has a few more months before training camp begins and they finally begin preparations for the new season.
Soon enough, some of her teammates gathered in the comments section and praised how she looked.
“so cutie 🥰,” commented Kayleigh Heckel

UConn Huskies WBB Lost 5 Players From Last Season But Have New Additions
As for the team itself, the UConn Huskies will definitely have a new look next season after they lost a total of five players, either to eligibility and the WNBA or to the transfer portal. The most obvious one is team leader Azzi Fudd, who became the No. 1 pick for the Dallas Wings this year.
They also lost former senior center Serah Williams, who is now with the Portland Fire, as well as guard Caroline Ducharme, who was previously with the Golden State Valkyries but was waived by the team. They also lost Ayanna Patterson (Kentucky) and Ice Brady (Florida State) to the transfer portal.
The Huskies will have a few additions though, including a couple of international ones in Serbia’s Jovana Popovic and France’s Marine Dursus. They are also adding 2026’s No. 2-ranked high school recruit, center Olivia Vukosa.
