Paige Bueckers, KK Arnold And More Share Wild Celebrations After Braylon Mullins’ Clutch Game-Winner

It was a historic day for the UConn Huskies. Geno Auriemma’s women’s team continued its unbeaten run, beating an inspired Notre Dame team to advance to the Final Four. On the other hand, Dan Hurley’s team snatched the victory in the dying seconds, courtesy of a heroic three-pointer from the logo by Braylon Mullins.

Victory for Hurley’s men was anything but comfortable. Mullins hadn’t converted any of his four three-pointers attempted, but turned out to be the hero as he scored one of the most important three-pointers of his career. Tarris Reed Jr. led the Huskies with 26 points. Duke’s Cameron Boozer saw a similar fate to Hannah Hidalgo. His 27 points and 8 rebounds went in vain as UConn won at the last second.

After celebrating their win, the women’s UConn team had its eyes locked on the men’s game. UConn legend Paige Bueckers was also glued to the TV for the high-octane game, and they went berserk while celebrating the victory.

UConn’s Serah Williams posted a story showing that the team was running through the corridor uncontrollably after the shot, writing, “Everyone’s reaction to that shot.”

Kayleigh Heckel also posted a story captioned, “Go Huskiesss.” KK Arnold moved the camera around to show everyone celebrating the big win. Bueckers posted a video of the last shot while watching on her TV. She was in disbelief and shouted, “OH MY GAHD. AHHH.” Crazy, but totally worthy reactions to an iconic moment.

This is the sixth time in history that both men’s and women’s teams have advanced to the Final Four in the same season. Azzi Fudd and Sarah Strong led their team to a rather comfortable 70-52 win. Despite Hannah Hidalgo’s double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, the Huskies ran away with the game. Strong scored 21 points, Blanca Quinonez had 20, and Azzi Fudd had 13.

Fans online were just as delirious and celebrated both big wins.

“UConn officially the best blue blood,” one fan claimed.

“CANNOT STOP WATCHING!! On repeat baby,” another showed excitement.

“March belongs to UConn,” another fan stated.

“I’m laughing at KK ‘everybody, let’s go downstairs,'” one fan noticed.

    “Basketball University,” one fan commented.

“Just some college kids living for the game,” another said.
