MiLaysia Fulwiley may have left South Carolina, but the LSU Tigers’ sixth woman is still dating one of the Gamecocks’ biggest track stars in JaMeesia Ford. The two were considered one of the hottest same-sex couples in sports and have stayed together even after Fulwiley left the University of South Carolina for bitter rival LSU. While Fulwiley is despised in her former school, Ford has shown full support for her girlfriend.
She is currently one of the most high-profile track stars in South Carolina, running in various distances, including 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay. She has various awards and recognitions throughout her track and field career.

She is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina and went to Jack Britt High School, where she made a name for herself as a high school track star, as colleges left and right tried to recruit her. She had won 24 gold medals across various events in high school, and this includes events such as the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and the 4x400m races. She excels in both indoor and outdoor events across various distances and disciplines.
Because she is a high-profile athlete, JaMeesia Ford also has various NIL deals, and her most prominent one is the running apparel brand HOKA, and she is the first sprinter to sign with that brand.
MiLaysia Fulwiley On Why She and JaMeesia Ford Went Public
MiLaysia Fulwiley and JaMeesia Ford have been going out for quite some time now, and they went public in 2024, surprising many. However, they are loud and proud to be out as a lesbian couple, and Fulwiley explained their decision to reveal to the public what their actual relationship is shortly after coming out as a couple together.
“I’ve never really seen a couple that thrives like us,” she said. “That’s what really made us want to go public.”
She added that they both understood each other because they are athletes and make their short amount of free time count, especially as both of them are busy with their respective disciplines.
