UConn Huskies star Azzi Fudd is in the middle of her last college basketball season. But it’s not the only reason why she is attracting so much of the spotlight to herself. Her off-field activities and rise in social media popularity have landed her an appearance on SELF’s March issue.
On Wednesday, SELF Magazine dropped the cover image of their March issue, featuring Fudd as they described the Huskies with the following words in the caption:
“Azzi Fudd is one of the brightest stars in women’s basketball. The combination of her chronic TikTok presence, megawatt smile, breezy personality, and near-perfect gameplay has fueled her rapid rise in popularity—on and off the court. Tap the link in bio to read SELF’s March cover story.”
For the cover image, Fudd wore a red leather trench coat over a soft white dress. The picture was shot by photographer Cesar Buitrago Studio. The styling was done by Dioné M. Davis. Hair was done by Andrita, makeup by Linda Gradin, and nails by Iam Pham Nails.
Under the comments section, fellow Huskies star KK Arnold left a 1-word comment:
“LAWDDDD!!!!”
