The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have found success in the transfer portal. One of the best guards from last season, Madison St. Rose, is set to play for Notre Dame, possibly replacing the production of Olivia Miles, who departed for the WNBA. Hannah Hidalgo is excited to play with St. Rose.
Hidalgo dropped a two-word comment on Notre Dame’s post, which announced St. Rose’s commitment:
“Letssss goooooo.”
Hidalgo also reshared the post on Instagram and captioned the story:

There are many similarities between Madison St. Rose and Olivia Miles. Both are 5’10” guards. St. Rose averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals last season. Miles, in her last season with Notre Dame, averaged 15.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 1.4 steals. Moreover, just like Miles, St. Rose is set to play her redshirt senior season alongside Hannah Hidalgo.

Hannah Hidalgo has been a special talent for three years now. Ever since her debut with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, she has proven to be one of the brightest stars in women’s college basketball. She has stayed loyal to the Notre Dame program and is committed to coach Niele Ivey’s vision.
Her pairing with Olivia Miles in the 2024-25 season was among the best. They combined for over 1200 points, and Notre Dame finished first in the ACC with a 28-6 overall and 16-2 conference record. However, Miles transferred to TCU for her redshirt senior season, and Notre Dame’s form dipped.
Fans online were happy to see Madison St. Rose commit to Notre Dame.
